Who's up for National Novel Writing Month for 2010?
It's a week away, and I'm SO excited for it. I can't even really express WHY I'm so excited, because school and such is killing me as it is. But I am very excited, mostly because (wow that totally just contradicted the previous sentence entirely) it'll give me a huge, unavoidable drive to write. I have a pretty big drive as it is, as I've gotten rather far in my writing despite the road blocks of work and school. I think being pushed beyond that is really good for me regardless. I'm going to be rewriting SoF Book 1 for this November. Yes, I know, you're supposed to have an entirely new story or what have you, but I don't consider this cheating, mainly because I'm literally rewriting every sentence, and changing so many things (while keeping the basic idea of the first draft) that it's not as if I'll be chucking up a word count that isn't real.
We'll see how it goes. I'm pretty happy with it being November already, and being able to write with friends and pushing oneself beyond the usual is always exciting for me. So yes.
Who's doing it this year?
My profile is (try not to die of shock) GodsDragonGirl! Feel free to add me as a writing pal, or keep tabs on my process through that page.
Sooooo excited!
Hobey ho, lets go!

Ten COMMANDMENTS,
Not Ten Suggestions

I might as well TRY.
I hope I can keep up with it. Yet again I'm going to revise CatC and basically only count the words from where I stopped to the end. Hopefully it can reach 50,000 but I know right now if I did another story I wouldn't succeed for sure. Especially with prepping for speeches and reports and blah blah.
If it really comes down to it I might switch to another story like the one about Rune... me don't know.
But you can do it!!
Anyway, good luck
Thank you!
since i got very little of "the woman who loved a lykos" i'm going to start over on that.
