Conflict

"Karlon! Karlon, wake up! Can't you see what he's done to you?"

Karlon would not listen, and he dug his claws deep into Taun's wing, causing the mighty dragon to hiss and scream his offense in his assaulter's face. Faran twisted his long shafted spear to the side, sweeping it at his brother, but Karlon caught it easily before it hit him and held fast.

"I do not want to harm you," Faran muttered to the wind. "But do not think that I won't."

Karlon did not answer, and Taun reared back his head and snarled his contempt, though his mind sent a much different message to his rider.

Faran, there is no hope.

He is lost.

I wonder why.

(not shifting in the blink of an eye- I mean slowly turning into him the deeper he gets.)

I felt like drawing an actual SCENE from one of my books instead of just.. random moments that have no real point like I usually do. Though I've gotten better at it lately.

So here they are, the Hohtay boys and Taun. A redone version of a picture I doodled three years ago in a random sketchbook
